That's hilarious that the "winners" from this one were in Georgia and North Carolina.

I’m in Sparta, NC looking out the window at 8 inches. Can’t wait to get to my home in Maine next week for some respite!

Looks like you'll miss the next one for Maine Tuesday. Clipper comes down and strengthens for Northern New England for Tuesday-Tues night. Misses giving southern New England a good storm but hits Maine with 3-8".

Yeah, some impressive totals there. Mostly mountains and higher elevation but still.. impressive for early December to get 1-2 feet.

Just saw this from NWS Gray. Snow totals from yesterdays storm.

I’ve only seen -18 here. Subaru started right up. But I live on the warm coast.

BTW got 5 inches last night, but a friend only 3 miles away got 12 inches. It was heavy wet snow. Snow blower went right through it like it was powder.
Slyfox2 - With your new tires, Subaru tuned to perfection, an amazing snowblower and your winter experiences...I can just see you facing the storm and saying, "bring it on!" However, that may be a little presumptious of me!

Currently here in Aurora, ME...24F Degrees, Dew Point 23F Degrees, Winds NW 8mph, cloudy and low predicted 15F Degreees...
Winter Weather Advisory from Tuesday 7:00am to 1:00am Wednesday Morning 2-5" of snow/sleet with a trace of ice!
Took the day off today! Took the points....just exhausted from work and having to communte into the city for seven days in a row...Needed to soothe our souls with the Winter Wonderland sights of Birch Meadows and listen to some Christmas Music...
Tomorrow's commute looks daunting, however, we're looking forward, with hope, to what it may bring! More snow and a cold snap on the horizon (meaning the snow will remain and beautify everything!

Has anyone tossed boiling water in the air, only to have it freeze and hit thee ground as a white frozen powder? That’s a February thing! ☺️

I’m into my 7th winter. Its not that big a deal if you have the right gear. Its all about having the right gear.

Tomorrow it will rain and wash all the ice off my driveway that I was unwilling to shovel off after snow blowing the snow part. The first inch of the storm was just slush that froze.
