YouTube is private company and can determine what content is acceptable. Anyone in this country can stand on a street corner and spew out whatever nonsense they wish and accept the consequences. You can stand in a crowded theatre and yell fire but in the end you’ll be held accountable.

I can only assume that those who are mad about Nazi/white-nationalist/hate speech being eliminated, are just mad, because they themselves are racist/bigots, who feel slighted.

Removing a part of history isn’t a good idea. Most people learn from it and don’t want to repeat the negative actions of the past. The problem is “who” is watching the video on YouTube and what “they” do with it. People with hate will simply find another venue to learn more and fill their appetite.
Carlos Meza who whined on Youtube via Vox to get Crowder and others conservatives/libertarians videos removed, got another unintended consequence.
