Yes, that part made me want to cry too. Thank goodness I was home alone at the time
Pets dying always make me sad.

Got me tearing up thinking about it...as Ennis holds Jack's shirt trying to remember their first few months when they met and he "smells" the fire, the mountains and Jack's love. Realizing that if he had kinda come out...Jack would probably be alive and they would he herding them sheep...I'll have to watch it again. If you enjoyed the movie, you may like "Get Real" or "Were The World Mine"...but the latter is a "happy" type crying...I got a million of them....LOL.

I even bought it on DVD, I don't usually buy movies.
I will put "Get real" and "Were the world mine" on the "must-see" list

I cried when I watched Farenheit 911 (the Micheal Moore film) when the screen went black for a few moments during the part about the 9-11 attacks.

I cried when Tom Cruise, as a paralyzed vet, went to tell the parents of his fellow soldier friend that he may have accidently killed him in that foxhole in "Born on the Fourth of July".

I cried watching "Riding in Cars with Boys" when Drew Barrymore took her now grown son to see his low-life father, and the father didn't even now his own son.

I cried when the lady on the Notebook didn't recognize her own children.
