Get over yourself, OP. Let them wear what makes them happy. You are a snot.

I don't have the power to keep people from wearing ugly Phillies and Eagles shirts. But I can certainly point out that it's pretty stupid to wear them all the time.

I wear Phillies shirts every day, of course. I want to be accepted by my neighbors!

I even wear Phillies underwear and socks.

I know you meant this to be flip... but your neighbors likely aren't giving two seconds of thought to what you wear. Perhaps you should show them the same respect.

This topic won't disappear so I'll give my take. Sports is a big hobby in south jersey and south jersians are sporty. Is just part of fashion around here. Warm sporty loose green eagles long sleeve, or orange flyers coat or phillies cap. In school guys would always talk about sports and nothing changed much.

South jersey = diners, farms, bowling, hoagies, eagles, shore.... we're proud fun people and show it in our clothing.

That's like the fourth time you've avoided that question.

Do you wear brand name clothes? That's basically the same thing as wearing sports apparel. Many people would say it's tacky to pay money to be a human billboard. At least sports teams provide entertainment. I don't see anybody going and cheering on the workers at the Abercrombie factory.
