Snow is almost all melted in Timberon, but we have the famous mud..

Whew! We really got dumped on the last couple days.
This is Summer Drive in Timberon. Taken this morning.

The snow on the road comes up my leg about 10 inches.

Great, isn't it? We got about another 11 or 12 inches here at the house. REALLY wet, some down trees and limbs from what I've been seeing and hearing.

Hi mtncat! Yeah, we've had a few branches break off from the weight of the snow. Those long ponderosa needles hold a lot of snow.

Just happen to have a pic of that too

Yep! Our home is nice and cozy warm with the SIP ceiling and the kickass wood stove. We can enjoy the snow from the comfort of our living room!

Hunter, I was in Cloudcroft today - they have a ton of snow all piled up on the sides of the streets. The bank ATM was snowed in, I had to park up the hill and walk down and climb over a drift to get to it!
Pretty though. The drive between Cloudcroft to Timberon is just beautiful.

Up at the summit today (yes I have been taking pictures like crazy )
