It sucks that my group was the last for the development and they ONLY had studios available. And yes, I did qualify for a 1BR. Someone in this site said that they usually put single people in Studios in order to give families a chance with the 1/2 BRs. Not sure how valid that is. I will keep looking for a 1BR....if I ever get the chance that is, lol.

How does that work if when they schedule a viewing for you they already have a specific unit; i.e., 1A assigned to you?

Well, every development is different and some people are shown units before their paperwork get sent out to HPD and at that point they are SUPPOSE to show you both of what you qualify for IF there are units left (as per the manual) and you pick which one you want

In my case, I was just given a 1 bedroom apartment, not sure if I had a choice to pick what size 1 want (what if I wanted a studio instead?) but I didnt ask any questions lol

Scoring a 1 bedroom as a single person is pretty much hitting the lottery
