In my case, I was just given a 1 bedroom apartment, not sure if I had a choice to pick what size 1 want (what if I wanted a studio instead?) but I didnt ask any questions lol

Same here.
Initially I was going to be awarded a Studio since that's what was left, but by magic, a one-bedroom opened up, and they sent my paperwork for the one-bedroom. I didn't get to view it until after I was approved, but at that point, I didn't really care.

It's so odd. Someone probably got cold feet / rejected at the last minute, or they declined when they found the apartment number is 2I. I mean, "I" is pretty terrible because on most forms and documents it can look like a 1 or a lower case l. Mostly the lower case l. Now I'm confused...

SMH that's ridiculous - if your biggest worry is a terrace then you don't need an affordable apt.
