El? U mean the L train because I was just thinking about that
The building are next to the train so they might be noisy
"El" means elevated track. It can be any train that's above ground but in this case it would be the 3 train. And yea living next to one of those tracks can be a nightmare. When I lived in Woodhaven, I lived right by the J train and eventually you do get used to it but it does take time.
Buildings close to train stations are usually sound proof, I currently live next to one. But that all depends which building you get chosen for. When you really think about it its not a bad deal. I've looked at how much gateway in Brooklyn was transformed. neighborhoods are changing. Hoping for the chance to interview for this one.
