Interesting how my friend's letter didn't have the word waitlist, but almost the same wording:

Thank god I didn't waste my time and go to the interview I would've been mad go through all that work to be wait listed and it's crazy cause they just called me back for a interview in may
They wait listed you too ? They have no more unit I think
Yes I was told over the phone that I was wait listed. And that they only up to 5,000 and I'm in the 43,000 but when I ask will I receive document stating that in wait list the respond got was no there's no notification stating that so I left it alone
