For those taking the bus or a cab;
Be ready, millions will wanna do the same thing and the streets have not been fully cleaned to handle that kind of traffic.
It's gonna be a nightmare of epic proportions. Mark my words.

Word to the wise, use your two legs on wheels. It's really the best option if you're in western queens or brooklyn.

Not everyone owns a bicycle or even knows how to ride a bike!

Yet, this is a another (among many others) good reason why they should.

If the subways aren't running on Thursday, I'm just staying in Queens. I doubt anyone will be faulted if they decide not to ride buses for four hours just to get to work in Manhattan...

Street cleaning rules are suspended tomorrow/Wednesday. So people don't have to worry about moving their cars.

The express buses might be working which should take a lot less time if you have that as an option.

Ferry service is suspended so I can see why Waterways isn't going to run the buses for their ferries. Be interesting to see if they got their buses out of harm's way.
