I am talking about the spread and severity of the virus, not economic effects of the virus.

Do people have no reading comprehension?

Poor countries may simply have less testing done.

Once it gets in any country, it explodes. Coronavirus certainly isn’t going to discriminate.

I didn’t think it was “so” rude. Mine was a valid question. Why are you so easily offended?

The lower cases in those countries are not because of less testing. They know if they have sick people.

It is simply because these countries are just not as interconnected, i.e. air travel. Not to say that they don’t have connectivity, just a lot less than the global powerhouse countries in Europe, North America, East Asia, etc.

I am not offended since you was not addressing me. Just observing in a nice way, perhaps we can all avoid saying things that are needlessly snippy during this crisis. It's up to you. Do what you want. Have a good one.

MY OP they really don't care about the kids!!!
They don’t care about the kids. Online education is a permanent game changer they didn’t want to deal with.

If people seriously listened to some of the hags that have worked in education we wouldn’t even have radios, much less computers and smartphones.

You butted in needlessly by criticizing my post as being so rude. I thought that was in itself pretty rude. How was that suppose to be observing in nice way or in any way helping the discussion of this crisis?

A country with more visitors from afflicted countries and without any screening for symptoms such as fever is more susceptible to importing more cases of the virus, but there’s still other factors involved like how much reporting/testing is done or local customs that may exacerbate the issue. I think one thing to wonder is how southeast Asia is actually doing as many countries there have extensive trade and tourist connections with China including Hubei province.
