I don't answer my phone - landline or cell. I don't do phone calls, period.
My landline phone ringers are set on Silent. My cell is set to ring for only 8 people, all of whom know to call me only if it's an emergency. Anyone else who calls me is set to a silent "crickets" ringtone.
I treat my email like snail mail - I check it once a day and I usually take 2-3 days to reply.
People with whom I *want* to stay in touch, and those who need me to contact them, know how to reach me (text, FaceTime, or Facebook). My doctors, dentist, service providers, etc., all know to text me.
I judge new people based on people from past experience. It's something I am working hard on changing. I didn't realize how bad I was until a year ago when someone told me how offensive it was. I am a lot better than I was a year ago. It's taking a lot of work though. I have to keep reminding myself not to do it. I accidentally slipped up last weekend.
I talk to inanimate objects
I talk to myself at work, answer myself too!
I curse at stupid people behind the wheel, drives my kids nuts
I can never sneeze just once
I forget to bring my garbage can up, sometimes for days, drives a few neighbors crazy
Why don't you REALLY get this party started by telling us something annoying that YOU do?
And no, I don't do that thing with the library and the sound on the computers, but I am absolutely positive that I do many things that irritate others. In fact, I'll share some of those things with you, OP, after you share some of your own foibles, and maybe we will be able to share a few laughs together then.
Lol. First off, it's pretty obvious that the post was written as the annoying indiscretion was being committed. So, I was really annoyed at the time and getting a headache.
How would I know about the annoying habits I have? If I knew they annoyed people, then I wouldn't be doing them anymore, right?
I mean, people talking in the library is annoying too, but I can understand it. Listening to music on a library computer out loud when you could SO easily have headphones on says to me either that person has no clue that is annoying, or just doesn't give a flip.
Well, I'm never wrong and that annoys a lot of people
No, it doesn't.
Uh oh...
