Seriously though, why not?? That place is beautiful in the summer, with the outdoor bar next to the river and waterfalls. They have several different areas of the resort to suit different musical tastes, excellent food, wonderful accomodations (for anyone wishing to stay the night), and it's located IN Wilkes Barre, which I assume is a central point for most people? Just my two cents (but I'll show up wherever it is, no matter what )

Wilkes Barre Hotels - Woodlands Inn & Resort - Hotels in Wilkes Barre, PA If you click on the photo gallery on the left, it shows you the bar and sitting area I was talking about outside by the waterfalls. It's really pretty

I've never been there, but I'm gonna go out on a limb here and assume that Twist is a gay club

Slightly.

Arena Bar and Grill on Sundays would be a nice choice, for that matter. $2 drafts (except for the high end stuff like Lindeman's Framboise). Except then it's not quite a family thing.

When you say not a family thing, do you mean no kids? I don't have a problem with that! But seriously, maybe a separate "adult only" night out type of thing could be arranged, aside from the daytime more family oriented get together sometime. THAT would be fun
