I'm happy you like your job and are looking to transfer. I hope you find satisfaction there as well.

I'll back off the unhappy employees statement and emphasize the overcrowding of the local areas without contributions to local infrastructure by not registering there cars here and still enrollment their students in better schools. Speaking to Virginia government, the tax dollars from northern va are not put back into the local infrastructure in a proportionate ratio. Look at rush hour on google maps with traffic in nova and then look at Richmond or even the tidewater area. Unfortunately, the backups are also caused by dc not improving roads receiving the traffic across the river too.

Living here my entire life, it is my observation that the larger the government grows, the more people have migrated into the area without any care or attachment to the local community. Thus the displaced population don't asymiliate and are estranged from the community.

Overcrowding puts a squeeze on everyone in every aspect including not wanting to deal with someone in a grocery store line or a line for a turn signal where the person at the front of the line feels no particular motivation to get moving so the person at the end of the line can get through. If I'm at the end of the line, I give a preemptive honk just to wake people up out of their cell phone induced daze and hit the gas pedal.
