I like all the weather people they have. We've talked a lot about Gary England, but let's not forget the great jobs that Mike Morgan (4) and Rick Mitchell (5) do, too.

I like Mike Morgan and Rick Mitchell. If it is a big storm we will flip the channels to see what everyone is saying. Rick Mitchell tends to draw a big red arrow pointing straight at my house. Gary is more calm. I also like Val the helicopter guy. They all do a great job.

I get my news on 47 when watching Jon Stewart and Steven Colbert. It keeps me highly informed. lol. More truth to that than you know. I would definitely call that "loca" news.

Hmmm, I don't think cable channels would count here, and the only 47 I know about on analog would be in Tulsa.

I believe there was a touch of sarcasm in there Although, I'm sure you knew that.

Well, we're not suggesting we switch back to rabbit-ear sets.

I'm sure a lot of us get cable, but what I'm talking about here is strictly the local broadcast stations. By the way, still haven't heard from all you FOX 25 watchers. I know you are out there somewhere.

Default How About During The Morning Rush?

I'd also like to give honorable mention to Channels 5 and 9 for wonderful traffic coverage in the morning. I know this is still a new thing in OKC on TV, when you consider that 4 doesn't do any traffic reports (well, not yet, anyway).

Tell us if you've got a favorite for when you get up in the morning. Those newscasts are growing.

I know that you were talking about the local channels, but if you have ever seen Jon Stewart and Steve Colbert report the news you would get the joke. They make fun of it. And that is how I get the news.

I like the Daily Show too, Jessaka. Their news is much better than the regular news, and not so depressing. Usually more to the point than the regular news.
