You know why it sucks? It sucks because these morons are moving to my location. I see new faces in my neighborhood every day. I mean Where did all of these people come from. But they want to raise families and still have access to the fun stuff

Rather than work hard and save and then be able to buy in most, though not all, areas.

Most people don't want to wait until they are in their 40s to start a family, or raise a kid in an apartment

Yeah, 35+ it starts getting increasingly hard to get pregnant. Expect more elementary school closings over time as we are below replacement level without immigrants.

I'm 35 now (but a guy), so I know about getting older and not having kids yet. My fiance is 5 years younger than me, so we still have some time

True, but you have to have the money to avoid that. Wanting something and getting it are two different things. I married in my 20's and bought my first house in.... my 40's. I now have owned 5 homes in 5 States including SoCal (Still own 2).

In general, people have to come up with a plan. Without a plan of attack to SoCal real estate, all of people are just wasting their time.

Well considering how easy it is for the younger generation to get a loan for college it is understandable how they feel they should be able to get a loan for any home they want. Oops, how many have a problem paying off the college debt and don't qualify for a home loan. The Govt made it easy to get that debt. Credit Card companies make it easy too. Banks take a different position on home loans.
