Do you have a set day for grocery shopping ? Nope, one of us goes when the need is there to replenish the stock. Until then, we eat what's left.
When you were growing up did your Mom have a set day ? Usually on Saturday mornings. This tended to include a trip to the food store, department store, butcher shop, and whatever else the folks had to do while we were out.
Who uses the same day that Mom did ? Not us.

Set up the same way as when you were growing up ? No this one is totally different in size and shape.
Set up your own way ? Yep. Funny thing is that one time we had some dear firends stay at our house and the woman visitor re-arranged my DW's kitchen cabinets to what she thought was more efficient for us. Man, my DW was SMOKED!!! Looking back, it was funny!
