When you were growing up did your Mom have a set day ? was a million years ago, but she most likely went on Fridays after work. We didn't have a grocery store per se in the town where we lived, so it makes sense she'd stop at one in the city before heading home for the weekend.

Set up the same way as when you were growing up ? I wish - we had a great kitchen in the house I grew up in. There was an indoor BBQ built into the back of the brick fireplace that faced the dining room and kitchen.

Breaker's are easy, but have never had to mess with it here - don't know where the water main is, but only time I've had to shut off water it was to individual things like a certain sink - not entire house. Last time you had to do this ? I think in CO I had to flip a breaker switch a time or two - it's been a long time.

Yup - Sunday late morning/early afternoon. It's at least slightly less crowded than Saturday, and since both of us work fulltime, weekdays are out of the question.

Paper Bag Day: I don’t like the, we use plastic or our own cloth bags most of the time, but sometimes Mrs. Cncracer gets the paper for some special use. I always remember being told roaches would come in in the paper bags, and I don’t even like to see them in the stores.

Cow Appreciation Day: There is a chicken chain who will give you a chicken meal if you come on a Friday dressed as a spotted cow. I think that would be funny.
