Default No.

But a nice name can be a plus. My last girlfriend's name was Cinnamon Sugar. That's a nice name.

Doh!!!

You don't want to know how we finished the adjective "juicy" while growing up.

I seem to judge people by their name before I have met them lets say. For example if you are going to be meeting with a woman and her name was Nora or Mildred, or Bernice, I would think old and less appealing. Then again maybe they are cute. Who knows. My middle name is Leroy and some may think the guy must be black. (I am only half black.) Just kidding.

This kind of reminds me of a time I was calling a customer service 800 number and got a girl named Lashonda. She sounded like the typical white Midwestern girl you get at some American call centers, and I was on the line for about 5 minutes. Never in my life have I met a white girl named La(anything).

The most unfortunate name for a young lady would have to be Bertha. For the Hispanic crowd, it would be Berta. Some people have no empathy when they name their kids.

Actually, as bizarre as it might sound, a person's name does influence their attractiveness in my eyes, especially if they look like their name.

In my twenties I had a run-ins with a few Erics that left me a bit wary, but generally if the only thing I can find to nitpick a guy about is his name, we're in pretty good shape.
