My favorite place to go would be in a cabin in the mountains of western North Carolina. Not too far from home, but it's my "dream spot". Always wished I could meet a nice man who likes to live the rugged and simple life in that part of the country.

I highly recommend it!! You'll fall in love at first sight. I was there with friends over the Christmas holidays, and it was absolutely gorgeous, like seriously picture-perfect. And the locals that I met were really, really friendly. Don't miss Milan, either...Northern Italy at Christmastime...sigh...that being said, my most desired vacation would be to go back there, spend more time, and explore Southern Italy as well as Northern Italy.

I agree...I loved Italy. Actually I was pretty satisfied with all the spots I visited in Europe: England, Scotland, France, Austria, and Italy. They all had wonderful parts to them and the people were very friendly.

Now it's Ireland and surrounding countries.

Next week, probably France and the...

January it'll be the Mediterranean and the...

Done Vegas. A lot! I'd do it again. Don't spend all your time in LV, though. Rent a car and go North to The Valley of Fire (weather permitting). Take walking shoes and camera, and lots of storage. Build a cairn while you're there. Visit Red Rock. Zip down to Lake Havaseau and see London Bridge. There are a lot of neat places within a day or overnight from LV. Eat at Battista's! Meat Lasagna. Behind Bally's on Audrie Street. Got side tracked again, didn't I?

Grand Canyon.

Vegas is fun for 3 or 4 days. I just got back for the third time. It is a great time.
First time I went with 2 other couples. Second time, I took my daughter in July (OMG was it hot) and I went in November with hubby. Had a blast. Great for a quick getaway.

I would like to take a cruise around the world and I would not care how long it took if less than one year.

I would like a large part of that cruise to take place in the Mediterranean Sea area.
