2011-2014 gas prices were higher and then things normalized. No reason to scream.
It's all temporary.
The US average price record high was in the summer of 2008 when it rose to $4.11.
I'm thinking gas prices will have each of us yelling out loud very soon
You're assuming "each of us" means everyone owns cars. Those not owning cars and riding the bus/trains everywhere, when they happen to see the price of gas as they're riding the bus, they sport a grin on their faces. Particularly here in Tucson where city buses became free during the Pandemic and they're still free to this day. Kansas City started free city buses a couple years ago.
My only complaint, is I just broke down, at 72YO, to finally buy my first Smartphone/Motorola Edge. After paying $600, good grief, they can't include a decent sized manual to learn how to run it? But my neighbor says to get on Youtube and you'll learn how to run it with a video. But still, I'd prefer a manual.
