Sounds like good news, Lacey. Fingers crossed.

Lisa, you managed to live well, right? That's what counts, girl.

My good news is that we found a vet this past year who will actually call us herself when she says she will. That's important when you have a pet who isn't feeling too great.

I heard from a friend I hadn't heard from in a while. I was surprised and am just over the moon about it.

That's an amazing feeling SunQ. I had been thinking of and looking for a very close HS friend-last time I saw her was shortly after Mr. L and I married 42 yrs ago. I did everything I could and 2 weeks ago there was a friend's req on FB from her (and I had searched FB previously). I was ecstatic-we messaged back and forth and then the phone for quite awhile. We'd been looking for each other for all these years!

I bought a new laptop last weekend and haven’t spent much time with it yet. However yesterday I wanted to load some new software onto it and was having some trouble. I called the technical assistance line and within five minutes was able to talk with a person. The next thing I knew, they had the problem found and solved. I couldn’t have been happier.

I also had a tv repairman who came out to the house and found the problem with the four year old big screen. He had to order parts and would be back in a week, I was happy about that and it was no cost to me for parts or labor. Mrs Aks was even happier about it. She watches tv and then doesn’t have to listen to me talk. LOL

Fingers crossed again. One of the couples who came through our open house Sunday called and scheduled to come back Saturday AM to look more thoroughly.
