None taken, it drives me up the wall over here as well to hear an entire generation try to make themselves sound like morons.

Do you have a tv in your living room?.....Yes

Bonus question: Which of the current trends out there drive you crazy? I agree with a lot of the answers here but especially NCN's. I really don't get wearing your pants down below your hips! Sheesh!

national hot dog day? All right! Think I'll have one this afternoon!

Do you have a TV in your living room ?
No. Mine is in the kitchen.

Does the TV get turned off when someone stops over ?
Nobody ever stops over when I am watching tv. It is usually on in the wee hours of the morning. Such is life when you sleep during the day and work nights.

Which of the current "trends" out there drive you crazy ?
The baggy pants have it hands down.

When was the last time you were in a park ?
I don't recall.

TV in the living room?
Yes, we have one in the den.

Does it get turned off if someone comes over?
Of course it would. But actually, we don't watch much TV.
Usually just occasionally the news and we do fairly frequently watch some DVD's of our selection.

Trends that drive me crazy?
I would also ditto the "sagging pants" style.

In a park?
Probably several years ago at a church picnic.

Happy Monday everyone! Cold and windy here today....where is spring?!?

Do you have a TV in your living room ? No, ours are in the family room and the basement, and another in the spare bedroom.

Does the TV get turned off when someone stops over ? Sometimes--depends who it is and if anyone is really watching anything. DH wants it on constantly no matter what, as background noise. It's how he grew up and can be very annoying!

Which of the current "trends" out there drive you crazy ? Girls/Women wearing tank tops and having their bra straps show. Soooo tacky! I know they think it's a fashion statement, but I think it looks terrible.

When was the last time you were in a park ? No idea--and we go fairly often, so it wasn't too long ago. This one park by us has a big tall old fashioned all metal slide--and my kids love it so we go regularly.

Do you have a TV in your living room ?
yes

Does the TV get turned off when someone stops over ?
usually but it depends who stops in

Bonus Question:

Which of the current "trends" out there drive you crazy ?
backwards baseball caps, droopy pants and girls that wear shirts and they think they are dresses so when they are wearing their thong and reach up it is quite the sight and most don't care.

Extra Credit Question :

When was the last time you were in a park ?
the other day

Today's Question(s):

Do you have a TV in your living room ? The TV is in the "family room"; the LR is a bit more formal and where we entertain but not where we "live" or hang out.

Does the TV get turned off when someone stops over ?

I can't think of when someone "stopped over"; we are pretty much unto ourselves. We do invite friends and family sometimes.....and the TV isn't on then.....unless its the kids and it's superbowl Sunday or something like that.

Bonus Question:

Which of the current "trends" out there drive you crazy ?

I am so out of it....I really don't even know whats going on "out there".....I tuned out and dropped out of the pop scene about the time rap music and break dancing came out....so maybe 20 years ago! I do notice that even nice girls are getting tattoos...(including some I love) but I still think they look trashy.....and the oversized low riding pants are sometimes really silly.

Extra Credit Question :

When was the last time you were in a park ? I live in the country so there isnt so much need or chance to go to a "Park". I did go to a couple of state parks at a lake and at the shore, last summer.
