Honey, being 28 and never been kissed or had a boyfriend is not typical or ordinary or even all that normal.

That's hardly ordinary or fine

Thoughts?
Do you have a mouse in your pocket? This is a joke. Everybody is different and there is no way to say whether some kids rebel because of having strict parents. My parents weren't strict and I was a hellion.

By whose standards? So she has to have rebelled or slept around to be "normal'?

No, but you're painting a black and white picture of the world. One doesn't need to rebel or sleep around to have had life experiences that are typical of a normal 28-year-old. What you are describing is certainly not typical or, as others have suggested, "normal".

There is a huge difference between living a normal life and having relationships and being rebellious or 'sleeping around'.

Does your 'friend' have plans to ever grow up?

She is a teacher, teaches Spanish. She lives in her own apartment. She owns a car, pays her bills like everyone else. Has friends from high school and college still. Still talks to her parents and siblings. Which part isnt normal?

Her inability to have an "intimate" relationship.

Generally "normal" people seek a mate in life. Unless her experience has turned her off men, of course, in which case that's also not "normal".
