I had 4 sons, and we saw male and/or female doctors as we took advantage of our physicians residency clinic in our college town. I made sure of a female doctor when they had one...I think males should develop a respect for females in any profession. We only had her for couple years...but she was great.
However...if one of my sons hadn't felt comfortable... I would have gotten him a different one.

Well certainly in the medical profession. Traditionally women had been nurses and men had been doctors but more and more women are becoming doctors in this day and age. Personally I prefer women doctors because I think they're better at that sort of stuff. I don't have much respect for men that are doctors, depending on what field they're in.
