If you are a graphic designer Oil City is a great place to live. I grew up there but only moved away because of my husbands job. If it wasn't for that I would have stayed. There are nice large old homes for good prices and it is close enough to larger areas like Pittsburgh if you like museums, shopping and other city amenities. Oil City has good mountain biking, kayaking and cross-country skiing. It is a great place to raise kids and is inspiration for the creative mind.

I know we just moved to Minnesota,but I'm still bouncing the idea of moving back to Pa. around and OC is on my list. I'm really missing NW Pa.

Because Venango and the surrounding counties have character. You don't move to the PA Wilds area if you want a city life. It is pure country living. That is an attractive draw to people that want a different lifestyle.
