I cut my hair and get a trim every 12 weeks or so. The hairdresser says, without fail, "It's been a long time, hasn't it?" I would suppose I spend about $80 / year on haircuts.

I'm with you Tvdxer lol. I get my hair cut maybe every 3-5 months.. I can go longer with no prob though, I'm not going anywhere to impress anyone lol. I only get it cut around holidays lol. My fiancee on the other hand gets her hair cut.. at least once every two moths and it's about 80$ with all her products bahh! Thankfully I save us money on my end to afford hers.

I'm with you on "getting my ears lowered" as my dad says every 3-5 months. But I just pay $10 for my haircut! If haircuts get to $20, I'll leave it long. No way I'll pay that much!

You're off on a rant and you don't know even what "clean" means.

To "stay clean" means to stay fresh, up to date, obviously just had a haircut/styled.

It doesn't have anything to do with being dirty. And even a dude with long hair or corn rows can be fresh and clean.

Whatever you want to spend is the appropriate amount. I use a beard trimmer to trim my hair all the way down. Saves me a ton of money and I always have the look I want because I can cut it any time!

I didn't know this thread was so hilarious. I'm going to have to get my sense of humor checked...

lol yeah I'd say it's quite a bit. I get my hair cut like every 5-6 months, or basically twice a year. Only $40! lol

Not necessarily haircuts but..

I'd much rather spend $1000 a year on something "fun" than to spend say $300,000+ on a house that isn't much fun to sit around in and lags the rest of my investments.
