I use my AMEX blue card to buy grocery,it gives me 6% cash back and 3% for online purchase, but there is an annual membership fee.
I dont like Costco, its prices are not wholesale and the selection not so great.

I have been getting around $10-20 back every month on my card which is wild because a few years ago I always thought there would always be interest on credit cards. My mom's card I share with her has interest charged each month but my Discover literally pays me 2% for each purchase to use it

Any cards that are good for recurring payments(streaming services or other monthly subscription services, like adobe photoshop)? I want to consolidate my recurring stuff onto a single card.

Most of the offers that you add to your credit card are kind of embarrassing. Amex usually has better offers.

I've been enjoying the extra 6x bonus for groceries on my Marriott Amex lately (special offer). My usual grocery card is the Blue Cash Preferred (6% on groceries).

Amex BCP is 6% back on select streaming services (not software subscriptions).

Bam!

Even federal government admits those with various reward credit or charge cards who carry balances pay more in interest and often fees. This often in good part if not totally erases any benefits from said "rewards".

You do know that you aren’t required to pay interest when you use a credit card to make purchases right

Yes, *I* know that and so do others, but apparently many Americans have not read that memo. Why do you keep harping on about this? Between 40% to near or over 50% of Americans historically carry credit card balances. That number by the way is increasing as people use credit to paper over income shortfalls.

You have a beef with people paying interest on CCs go on PBS, write a book, team up with Suze Orman or something.
