I'm sure they'll find new space or already have.

It's kinda like the classic model of gentrifiers following artists, and then artists getting kicked out & having to move on.

Good news, Blumenfeld owns the surface parking lot at the Northeast Corner of Broad and Spring Garden where plans to build a 14 floor mixed use building with office and retail space and 165 rental units.

Designs by Varenhorst

Broad and Spring Garden Streets Complex

Blumenfeld also owns the Thadeus Stevens School next to this surface lot in which he plans to redevelop as well.

Would love to see more office there, easier PT commute than places like the Navy Yard and to me the Loft district Broad/Spring Garden even Broad and Girard could be a incubator for tech, would love to see it and new type of business area. That would be a great improvement to the area though, especially if Blatsten does anything with all his property. Looks like things could get real interesting along N Broad from Vine to Temple

Also the new zoning code makes this basically approved at spec given the renders. Though to me these transit spots could have a little more zoning height IMHO - like a special epx or whatever that is

If I am not mistaken, it looks like work has begun on the interior of the old State Office Building
