Is there some kind of NYE event in Phoenix like they have in New York? The girl and I are looking for something to do! Thanks in advance!

A lot to do.

You have the Fiesta Bowl Block Party @ Tempe Town Lake ..... they will drop a chip at midnight .... concerts, etc going on

Scottsdale has a block party .... pretty sure there is one at westgate as well.

A lot of the bars will have good promotions .... went to one a few years back and it was like $60 to get in and then penny drinks all night

Many resorts have their own functions as well.

Search around, check out the new times, azcentral and other publications and find what suits you ..... while there may not be the grandest scale individual scene ... there are definitely enough options to fit all tastes

The only thing here that will resemble the NYE Time Square event is the Tempe Mill Ave NYE Block Party.

There is a NYE part happening at Cityscape in downtown as well with some guy named Ed Kowalczyk from LIVE performing. Never heard of him or the band but apparently they've sold millions and millions of albums.

Tempe party is fun, lots of out of towners for the bowl game enjoying the weather.

This year will be kinda chilly though.
