Yeah, that was another big bust so far. We got nothing at my house. So much for all the flood warnings.

Got 30 minutes of steady rain at my house yesterday. Most of the East Valley got rain including over an inch in the Far Eastern edge of town.

U of A had to have an evacuation for the flooding earlier this week. Tucson surely got a ton of rain.

Enjoy your monsoon season, people of AZ. Whenever you get down about a monsoon break, think about this: places in inland Texas, far more humid than anywhere in your state, average less rainfall days than Phoenix. Let that sink in.

You might have spoke a little to soon. It's been pouring for over an hour and the roads are flooded. We should be close to normal for totals with this one.

Rained a little here. Not much. I suppose if I added up all the .1, .3's of the season I might have an inch so far and that is about normal for this part of town. Still sucks as far as I am concerned. Now it goes away for another week of 110+. Pretty much everything I planted this year is already dead and the oranges fell off the tree weeks ago from the heat. So I guess it doesn't matter anymore, anyway. Three to Four more weeks and it's over if we are lucky.

Same for me. I kept hearing about this heavy rain and noticed the freeway signs even warned of it, but all I say was dry pavement and the sun coming up.

Been raining here in South Chandler for the past hour+, alternating between pouring and a steady drizzle. Lots of lightning too.

It is pretty customary for the NWS to blow forecasts for rain in fall and winter, but this is maybe the most overhyped non-event I recall during monsoon.
