They like highway access and a slightly higher income demographic, I could see them landing in McCandless Crossings or Robinson Township at some point.

The problem with the location is that outside of gameday nights (or other event going on there) it is completely dead. That has to have some effect on potential suitors who presumable do studies of an area before they decide to open up shop.

True...although, it somehow works for Bettis, Hyde Park, Burgatory, and the other restaurants located in that area, so enough people must work or visit the area to rationalize locations there. Or maybe the rent is cheaper than other spots.

I spend a lot of time in that location, for social and for business reasons, and it's pretty busy all the time besides the dead of winter. The north shore is a light year away from what it was in 2005.

Agreed it's much better than 2005; I guess I was just remembering a recent experience about a month ago where I was there on a random Saturday night (I rarely go to the north shore outside of an event) and went briefly to Rivertowne, Tilted Kilt & Mcfaddens & they were empty & the few patrons that were there were total trashy hillbillies.

Hopefully the addition of some nicer places in that end will improve the area for the better.

Where you would pay what, $8?

I've only had Jeni's two or three times. Not only is it overpriced, it's not that good. I knew there was cornstarch in it the second I tasted it.

Trashy Hillbillies need a place to go, too.

Those are locals that frequent those places when there's not a sporting event. Those places live off of people attending events/sporting events.

I'd rather get a Hard Times Cafe. You can get cincinatti chili if you want there, but you can also get several styles of Texas chili and a lot of other stuff. and beer.

It's probably not the same. I don't see how it could be if all the locations are in Virginia and the like. Also, Skyline does just one thing, so they aren't distracted by non-Ohio types of chili.
