Hmm. I live three miles from there, I spend a lot of time there, and I'm telling you that locals aren't at Tilted Kilt or Grille 36. I'm a fan of Doubleday's on game day personally, mostly because tourists aren't pouring in.

The Tilted Kilt is a successful concept restaurant with more than a hundred locations coast to coast.

I'm sure a lot of Americans like to go there.

There are a lot of people from out of town who are on North Shore for things other than sporting events, you know.

I hear the whole chain is down the tubes. One was being built in Savannah last year, and it never happened.

I'm not a big fan of watching drunk men old enough to be my father sexually harass twenty year olds, but to each their own.

What do you have against tourists?

If it wasn't for out-of-owners, there wouldn't be enough people to keep the stadiums and other venues on the North Side open for business. Heck, that's why they were built in the first place.

Again, you're failing to understand. What you consider tourist traps are what the majority of fans see as a place to have a good time.

That makes total sense. Doubleday's sounds perfect for you.

We were talking about where locals go, not where fans go. At some point in the middle of the conversation, you stopped talking about locals and started talking about fans.

You said that the trashy hillbillies at The Tilted Kilt on non game days are locals. I, as a local, am asserting they aren't. You can believe what you'd like, but I spend a lot more time there than you do and I know what I see.
