We've got about an inch of snow so far.

Sounds like this storm has been another ice and rain event for Pittsburgh. Anyone close to the city get any decent snow? Buddy in Morgantown reports rain-fog and in the mid 40's this morning.

Less than an inch of snow before the changeover to freezing rain here west of the city near Robinson. Plain rain on the way to work this morning, some of the ice is starting to melt as temps are rising above freezing. But the parking lot at my apt complex was a sheet of ice and I had to scrape about 1/4 inch of ice off my car. However the forecast calls for another changeover to snow this afternoon. I doubt we'll get more than an inch though.

Gosh, that sucks! All you guys have been getting this winter is rain and ice. Crazy that we've gotten several more inches of snow just an hour NW of you.

We're sure getting snow now. The rain changed over to snow just after 1pm and has been coming down at a pretty good clip ever since. Looks like we picked up a quick 2 inches already.

I know i don't live in Pittsburgh, but i thought i would share some before and after pictures from yesterday at 4pm to today at 4pm here in Warren (just north of Y-town).

Notice the remnants of snow left over from when we got a foot a couple of weeks ago (that storm had accumulations around 11 inches, although some if it melted when we had a 40° day last week).

After..........

Another view.........

I fully expect to get booed of the forum for this, but in L.A., right now? It's about seventy and sunny, not a cloud in the sky.

If it makes you feel any better, I'd give anything for a snowy day.

No booing from me, I grew up sweating in the Florida heat and humidity. You can keep the warm weather. I enjoy the winters up here.

The summers in L.A., especially the past few, are brutal! Sometimes weeks in a row with temps around 100, and rain? Ha, only a drop or two between May and November. This is actually the best time of the year out here. I miss the four seasons in Pgh, fall was my favorite, and weather year 'round that has a little variety, much better.

Just for fun, I'm posting some weather hype...

Accuweather.com is predicting a major winter storm for the Northeast next Tuesday. Depending on the track, Pittsburgh could see blizzard conditions, according to them. Wouldn't that be fun? I noticed the Weather Channel is starting to pick up on this storm too. Who knows? Too far out to tell, I'm sure we'll get mostly rain and an inch of snow out of this. lol
