Here's a thought: many straight men cook, clean, do laundry, read their kids bedtime stories, kiss boo-boos, brush hair... Does that mean they are acting like women?
By God, my boys sure better not tell people that I am gay because I did all those things for them. I say that in jest but I mean it, too.
Btw, I know I'm a woman so my opinion might be skewed... but I would LOVE to be raised by two fabulous gay men!! I mean, how much fun would that be? Not to mention he's a musician, so the kid will be raised listening to the most wonderful lullabies ever. Can I be re-born as the child of a flamboyant gay musician - please??
Strikes me as a great way for Elton to stay relevant in the news, which is quite selfish. Think they're too old, and don't agree with 2 gay men raising a child. I know I'll get backlash for that, but it's just my feelings on the topic.
I do all those things but I don't think my kids are confused about my manliness. Maybe it's his flamboyant personality and the fact that he likes men.
That's not confusing to anyone but the mentally handicapped, perhaps. Some men are flamboyant and like other men. That's just the way it is. Kids love their parents and accept them for who they are, regardless of their sexual orientations.
Seriously? I honestly feel sorry for you believing this.
You know what, there are no guarantees in life. Young parents die, older parents die. It is not the quantity of time one spends but the quality. Yes, it is sad when one loses one's parent as my children lost their father (my youngest when he was barely 18), however, I guarantee you my husband would have never wanted anything other than to get to know his children, even knowing how little time he would ultimately have with them. Oh, and my husband was younger than Sir Elton is now when he died.
The doctors in my case said that I wouldn't have been around long if they hadn't done the emergency surgery less than 3 days after I was taken to the hospital. After Obama care goes into effect I don't think many 72 year olds, other than politicians or celebrities, will receive that kind of surgery before some consultations among some bureaucrats take place and there may not be time for all that.
I hurt really bad for the family of the man they moved into the room across the hall from me at that time. He couldn't have been more than late 30s and his 10 year old daughter pushed his wheel chair into the room when he was admitted. My nurse told me only that he was experiencing some chest pains but I watched a couple of people shave his torso just the same way they did me to get me ready for by pass.
I felt sorry for that family but mine has been pretty happy to have me around to do things for them the past 6 years and Obamacare would have made that impossible. Don't feel sorry for me for believing the bureaucrats would have done that. Hide and watch and see if I am wrong.

Don't ask any of us for that favor. Only God can do something like that for you and maybe you will be reborn, as Hindus believe, just that way.

Might make a difference if you explained your reasoning behind those thoughts. (but I kind of doubt it) How about my friend and his partner raising five adopted children?
About the fact that daddy acts like a woman, for one.
Why would that be confusing? Daddy acts like daddy acts.
You would rather the daddy in this story be a beer-swilling misogynist, just so long as he "acts manly"? What of the gay guys out there that *do* act manly and fly under most people's "gaydar"? Are they more fit to be parents?

Well, I'll feel sorry for you anyway because I don't have to "hide and watch" as I already know you're wrong.
