Oh c'mon people... seriously?? It's the right! No, it's the left! You all started it first! No, YOU started it first!!! To be completely honest, I'm ashamed of both sides right now - and this is precisely why I call myself an independent, as this two-party bickering is childish and scary.

You seem like you're taking this awfully hard. This may not be the right thread for you. People in this thread are discussing the "politics and controversy" angle of the attacks. Perhaps your temperament is better inclined toward a simple memorial that one may find elsewhere.

And what if it is? I don't know anything about the shooter yet, but I applaud that Sheriff's guts to say what he believes - and what so many Americans are already thinking. There has been mud-slinging on both sides, and if this IS what led to the shooting, I think we need to discuss how to end this two-party bickering and vitriol. It happens in both directions, so I'm not choosing sides... as I already said, I'm ashamed & scared by how divided this country is becoming.

LOL... I was saying we SHOULD discuss the political motivations, in case you missed it. And no, I'm not taking it "hard" - just saddened in general, as I have been with the political divide as of lately. I didn't know these victims personally, so it is not affecting me in a truly emotional manner.

Any more news about the possible involvement of a second person? It was disclosed at the press conference that law enforcement is looking for a second person and that they did not believe this guy acted alone.

"One suspect was in custody immediately after the shooting, and investigators were "actively in pursuit" of a second man whom they believed may be involved in the attempted assassination, Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik said Saturday night"
