It seems as if everyone around us these days will not even listen to or acknowledge any fact that doesn't fit into their preconceived beliefs. There doesn't seem to be much objectivity being displayed in this thread, either.
You're way off base. From Loughner's YouTube video (the one that sarts with "Firstly, I want you to understand this from the start. Did you know grammar is double blind, listener? Secondly, if you want to understand the start of revelatory thoughts then listen to this video." ): "Do you now have enough information to know the two wars are illegal!"

Now that further evidence comes forward that he was on the left, the progressives on this thread will backpeddle and revert to their original statement:

It's not only soldiers who give thier lives for our freedom these days. I pray that this works out for the good of this nation and that it will cause even more of our leaders to stand up for what's right. I agree with all of you in prayer for the families of the victims and everyone else involved.
I still don't see evidence of him being left-leaning in the past year. (Guy's apparently been all over the place, and what he believed in 2008 does not necessarily apply now) The videos, on the other hand, are very recent and have a lot of Glen Beck rhetoric.
This tragedy IS political. A federal judge overseeing a contentious illegal immigration case was killed and a sitting congresswomen was the target of assassination.
