I do not recall 2nd Amendment proponents saying legalizing guns will stop crimes being committed with guns. But I do seem to recall pro-abortion people saying for years we must legalize abortion to prevent the horrors of illegal abortions. I also recall being told we must legalize abortions to prevent the deaths of women from abortion. Looks like that one failed as well.
Surely you realize that this "clinic" was far from the norm. The so-called doctor wouldn't have been able to get away with it so long if not for the fact that he took advantage of illegal aliens and very poor women who probably had no way of knowing what kind of slim-ball he was until it was too late. The "clinic" was the exception to the rule where as this kind of place WAS the norm before Roe vs. Wade.
I just read the grand jury inditement filled with over 200 pages on this case & it is the most horrible thing I think I have ever read.
Babies that were alive & moving for 20 to 30 minutes & the jokes this DR made about them before he cut their little throats.
The woman who worked there for $8 to $12 dollars an hour & were not only complicite but, also committed murder under the DRS. direction.
He also charged by how far along these woman were & extra for meds.
Reused dirty bloody instuments & this caused many to contract various venereal diseases, & illnesses.
This guy needs to die & his groupies with him IMO.
Are you for better public child care? What about increased public funds to facilitate the adoption process??
These kids would matter at all if they had been carried to term then given up for adoption. Nor would they have mattered if they had died shortly after birth because their mothers could not afford health care.
I suggest you get off your high horse of self bestowed morality and develop consistency of your opinions. I hate abortion, but I don't think anything should be made in terms of laws until children matter after they've left the uterus and our laws reflect that.

I gave my opinion & I don't give a dam what you think or what you assume about me......you do what the word assume means don't you?
I happen to believe that abortion should be a personnal decision but, I do not believe that late term abortions that result in a baby able to live & breath on its own is anything short of murder.
If you read the indictment you would know that one woman who had someting put inside of her to dilate her uterus, changed her mind. The DR. refused to take it out & even though she went to the hospital & had it removed, her baby was delivered anyway & is now a healthy 4 yr old.
These so called abortions were being done with babies that can survive outside the womb< that means that they are alive human beings & NOT fetuses.
I am not a hypocrite & believe always that we should help woman who decided to raise their children & need help as opposed to abortion.
killing a "fetus" while the head is still in the birth canal, (as in a partial birth abortion) or ten seconds after the "baby" is born?
when is the last time that there has been a serious discussion about the emotional, mental and physical effects on a woman after an abortion?
when is the last time that mortality rates of women during or after an abortion were discussed?
I think it's time that we have an adult discussion about these things and stop being so cavalier about "woman's rights" when,in fact, an unborn child has none.

Where have you been for the past 25 years? Every aspect of this topic as been discussed up one side and down the other. You can discuss it for another 25 years and the results will be the same i.e. the emotional, mental and physical effects on a woman is always life-changing whether a woman aborts, carries to full term then adopts the child out, or she keeps it. There is no easy or guilt-free choice involved, no choice that doesn't leave behind a bunch of 'what-ifs' later on. You think people are being "cavalier" about abortion? Ninety-nine women/couples out of hundred are anything but cavalier about making this decision.

Last time a checked no one gave a hoot. You're only precious as long as you're carrying the baby. How you're going to pay for their, your health, education, anything...well we can't have a socialist nation, can we.
