That is kind of funny.
I'm watching now, it's odd! They are really close to all the action. The traffic is still moving.

They take their religion as a serious matter.
Wars stop for prayers.

1700: More on the praying protesters: at the end of their prayers, tear gas was fired at them by the security forces, prompting an angry response from the crowd and many shouts of "Allahu Akbar" (God is great).

BBC News - Egypt unrest

Unfortunately not for everyone.

I wonder what Mubarak is going to say in his address to the nation?

Somehow I doubt anything will help unless it is that he is leaving the country.

At least Obama will have another scapegoat for a sagging market. Blaming Bush went out of style some time ago. Time for something fresh and new.

How I wish I could be home watching this! Thanks to one poster for the link to the BBC website.

I must say, that back when President Hosni Mubarak became president (after Sadat's murder) many observers thought that he would be too 'weak' to remain president long. He did prove people wrong in that respect.

Poor Egypt! I was there once. What a wretchly poor country (save, of course, for the leaders).
