I think it's great news..the government CANNOT totally silence communication no matter how hard they try.
I read that pictures and videos are getting to the AP as well.
Someone probably sneakernet'ed a flip cam to a facility that has a non-ISP setup (satellite). I'm sure they are available. There could also be military that are sympathetic and allowing citizens to piggyback communications.
