It's called deferred compensation plan. In other words, unlike board rooms who pay themselves up front in contracts for work they have yet to perform, union workers invested their lives in 20-30 yrs of labor for deferred compensation. No robbery on their part. Stop lying. If you drove a car for 30yrs and another bill is due as term and condition, you can't blame the car for where you steered it or how you failed to manage the terms of the agreement.
Seriously? Do not accuse me of lying just b/c you fail to recognize how retirement plans work. If you want to play nasty, you will be reported.
As to your last statement, the Democrat governor is the one who brought all this on. That is what Walker is trying to change. He is NOT the one who "steered the car" in this direction, he is the one trying to solve the problem.
THERE IS NO MONEY. That is the problem. Until you recognize that fact, you have no argument.
In that election, who had more money? That's who is allowed to win. It's a bidding war for control of legislation by special interests not qualified to make decisions in the best interest of all no matter who you elect. THIS is the point. No ones best interest can be served when only those with $$$$$ can influence decisions. ALL parties are completely off point as a result. Not just since Obama, since Reagan when ethical restraints were lifted off commerce unleashing the hounds of hell. Reagan didn't INVENT this, but he did, like liberals defending individual rights too far, unlock the door of the insane asylum to let them freely wreak havoc on civilization.
You can have the biggest war chest out there and still lose if people disagree with your policies.
"The billionaire brothers whose political action committee gave Gov. Scott Walker $43,000 and helped fund a multi-million dollar attack ad campaign against his opponent during the 2010 gubernatorial election have quietly opened a lobbying office in Madison just off the Capitol Square. . . The expanded lobbying effort by the Koch brothers in Wisconsin raises red flags in particular because of a little discussed provision in Walker's repair bill that would allow Koch Industries and other private companies to purchase state-owned power plants in no-bid contracts."
Plant Manager Jobs - Power Plant/Operations/Maintenance - State of , Wisconsin (http://www.thinkenergygroup.com/think.nsf/J/84239?Opendocument - broken link)
"Energy client is looking for experienced Plant Managers for multiple power plants located in Wisconsin. You need 15+ years of operations & maintenance experience in a power plant environment. You should have at least 5 years of experience managing operations & maintenance teams in an operational power plant. The ideal candidate has experience in a coal fired power plant. Salary is commensurate with experience."
Coincidence? Maybe. But I think not.
This scenario is precisely why it is so dangerous for corporations to be considered "people", and be allowed to literally buy Governors and other "elected" officials.
Those evil SOBs! Democrats just want to help everyone and drive them into financial insolvency and social anarchy and those damn evil Koch brothers keep standing in their way!

How can citizens achieve informed consent in any given vote when no matter how hard they try to be informed there are piles of chaff deliberately obscuring truth. When no matter who they vote for is animated as a trojan horse because of the very terms and conditions of employ?
It doesn't matter how honest Ron Paul is when the system is corrupted. It doesn't matter how sincere democrats are when they attend to problems. The back stabbing is built in.
If someone cannot do their due diligence and research the heck out of the candidates and issues before they vote, they have no right to vote. With rights come responsibilities, I think we have forgotten that.
When you cut taxes for the richest citizens and the biggest corporations, yes the money won't be there.
That's what I love about Walker, he cut taxes for the rich and is sticking it to the little guy. Beating him in 2014 will be easy.
Where did he cut taxes for the rich? Citation, please. He lowered the corporate income tax rate, it is NOT the same thing.
