I can't wait until Walker is up for reelection. He probably will have to just resign and let another Republican run for him because he is already damaged goods.

LOL.
Take a look around the US. Wisconsin is not the only state doing this.

Um... because the Dems have left WI in such great shape?

Yes, please, by all means ...let's bankrupt the state and local governments even faster with even more public union demands. That's the ticket.

I know. There are many new Republican governors doing the same thing. Cutting taxes for their supporters and benefactors and then using the excuse of the deficit to layoff middle class workers.

November 2014 is coming.

So you don't believe there are any deficits in any states ?
What about at the Fed level..no deficits there either ?

You think "no money" is just a ploy ?
Didn't Obama sign those Bush cuts extension ?
Didn't Obama ADD the payroll tax decrease ?

Can you see that the Dems are just as much to blame, if not more because they had the power for 2 years, for the state of our country ?

When you cut taxes for the rich, it creates a deficit. Wisconsin didn't have a deficit until Walker cut taxes for the richest and most powerful in his state. Now he is using his own actions as a reason for having to cut middle class workers.

I can't wait until November...

Cute reply. If you were the one that knew the proper of the phrase.

But as it is, your pathetic attempt at making someone else look unintelligent just backfired, as "bears repeating" is the correct spelling and use.

Again, Doyle's admin ADMITTED to leaving Walker a multi-billion dollar deficit last November:
Quote:
Democratic Gov. Jim Doyle's administration on Friday told Republican Governor-elect Scott Walker that he would have to cope with a $2.2 billion deficit in the state's upcoming two-year budget, but this brighter-than-expected forecast contained more than $1 billion in hidden pain.
To arrive at the favorable estimate, the Doyle administration's estimate assumed that Walker and lawmakers would make spending cuts that have yet to actually happen - two more years of state employee furloughs, no pay raises, a virtual hiring freeze and belt tightening in state health programs. Without that $1.1 billion in savings, the state's projected shortfall rises to $3.3 billion - a significant increase over previous estimates that put the gap at between $2.7 billion and $3.1 billion.
Report on Wisconsin

Furthermore, Rachel Maddow's already been taken down over that same ridiculously phony claim:
PolitiFact Wisconsin | Rachel Maddow says Wisconsin is on track to have a budget surplus this year - FALSE

Stop, lying, man. It confirms the fact that your side will lie to get whatever they want to those who already suspect as much.

Cutting taxes for the rich creates a budget deficit. Now Walker is trying to pay for that deficit by firing teachers.

Good strategy.

November is coming...

I have no clue what you're talking about, as usual.

I'm not hijacking anything. I was directly responding to something you said. Wow.

It may be compensation for work performed if the pension has been worked out as terms of employment, but you need to admit they are getting a profit on what is being paid in. That's kind of the whole basis for retirement accounts in general, you pay in, gain interest, and reap the rewards when you retire. Pensions in the public sector are not fiscally sound as that money is paid by the taxpayer, and right now in WI, there is a HUGE financial shortfall when it comes to the pension system. That is an irrefutable fact.
