Because they all are as extremist as this. And they do it for the letter next to their name.

The potential reason to vote for him depends upon the alternative.

That's what I took from it at first as well, but I think the point the poster is trying to make is that they won't support what seems to be a pretty fair deal on the surface. The deal is that, people will allow a tax increase, but they want the government to cut $10 of their spending for every $1 of a tax increase. I don't think the people should have to suffer a single penny of a tax increase to cover the obese spending of these people, so $10 to $1 sounds pretty generous, why wouldn't you take it? One may conclude (granted, with very little info) that it's because he's greedy and doesn't want to be held to any recordable metric of which spending needs to be reduced.

Also, if all the politicians are in unanimous agreement, you know it's bad for the people...

Democrats should have voted for Hillary. I don't like her, but at least she had some credentials.
That's what I'm thinking. Obama made such lofty promises when he was campaigning, raising hopes so high. But what result has he got to show for it? Even his most staunch supporters have got to admit that his presidency has been a let-down.

Isn't it obvious that he's just doing damage control now?

It is obvious to all but "in denial" supporters that the man failed to deliver on any of his promises. My favorite lie..........Transparency of government. We would see everything before it was voted on. Nancy Pelosi then steps forth and says we need to pass the Accountable Care Act to see what's in it. Gotta love that transparency.

That deal was complete BS if you didn't know about it.
Tax now, cut at some point later in the future over the years when Obama is no longer president.

Here is the Obama 2012 campaign slogan..........."If you were dumb enough in 2008, let's roll with it."

I see, but that sounds like it's BS in favor of the 'ticians, so why would they object?
