Why would the Republican Tea Party ignore the voters? 72% is a big number.
An estimate from the CBO. Never before in the history of counting jobs has there been a metric of "created or saved". Before obama that is.

Listen to this - it will hurt;

What are you talking about? I put up two polls that refute what you are claiming.

Voters KNOW his jobs bill is NOT a jobs bill, just like they KNOW his stimulus was a complete failure.

3. And in general, do you think it is more likely that Obama's policies will succeed or more likely that
his policies will fail?
Oct. 14-16 Dec. 17-19 Dec. 16-20 Mar. 12-15
2011 2010 2009 2009
Succeed 36% 44% 52% 64%
Fail 59% 47% 41% 32%
Mixed (vol.) 4% 6% 5% 3%
No opinion 2% 2% 2% 1%
59% think his policies will FAIL.

86% rate economic conditions as POOR - a DIRECT reflection on obama.

Post the portion of the President's Jobs Act, you've read that doesn't do what the President says it does.
You mean you want to believe him again? After everything he said about the stimulus turned out to be false?

I don't know what he is talking about but yesterday on the news, they were saying that the economy, and even housing will not be getting better, nor will employment. They said the economy will not be improving any time soon. Some people the kool-aid, is getting a bit spiked.

I'm not claiming anything.

72 percent of the American people support the ideas in this bill -- 72 percent of Americans agree with this -- Republicans, Democrats and independents -- there's no excuse for 100 percent of Washington Republicans to say no," said the president. "That's means that the Republicans in Washington are out of touch with Republican voters."

Funny watching the righties here trying and failing to explain away that their beloved Tea Party is Not doing the Will of the people, but is instead playing political games in an attempt to make the President and Dems look bad in an attempt to gain politica power for themselves.
The American People, Conservatives, Moderates and Liberals alike are become wise to to Tea Party and their true agenda, which is nothing more than to gain power. By this time next year being a Tea Party candidate will be the Kiss Of Death, someone might want to wake up Paul and let him know, oh wait his run will end long before November of 2012.

NO.

Economists don't agree with your opinion of the first stimulus.

You should start a thread topic about the first stimulus, I'm certain everyone looks forward to engaging in that debate.
