Lifestyle choice? Ha,not having babies is a lifestyle choice we can't all afford to make is it? Just what would happen if we all decided it was just a lifestyle choice?
Really, it's more of the attitude that if you give a woman in America a maternity benefit she would soon do nothing but have babies because she has no control of it all when it comes to free money. That is why I demanded respect, not for financing my "lifestyle" choice. ha ha ha
It's hard to give life to you creatures that grow up and crap all over us. lol

By the way, that was a joke, I don't think you all grow up and crap on your mothers feelings.

I don't care WHO is paying for it. NO one but said parents of child should be paying for the care of the child. Take your 6wks of maternity leave and get back to work

Exactly. These people think that the government gets it's money to pay people to breed out of thin air.

It's robbing working Peter to pay for dead-beat Paul's illegitimate offspring.

Why should you be paid to have a baby? If you want paid time off, work it out with your employer. Many people actually plan their families.

Things change and cel phones and the internet are not considered just luxuries anymore. A lot of people feel they need them for work, school like briefcases use to be.
But I do agree with you on cutting back on the mega homes and cars. That is a whole other topic but I'm thinking we'd agree on that thread. People live way too large.

That's highly illogical.
