They're mainly on fixed incomes--think retirees living on social security. They pay other taxes, but many don't make enough to pay federal income taxes.
State taxes don't count as taxes? Real estate taxes don't count? My grandfather pays thousands and thousands of dollars in real estate taxes and he is retired.
Non homeowners pay property taxes? Nevertheless, if you pay taxes you pay taxes, and for someone to claim that people who pay state taxes don't pay taxes is ridiculous
Split hairs all you wish but it won't change the fact that 47% of the population pays NO federal income tax. That is a disgustingly high number.
I am just a middle class peon and i would gladly pay another $100.00 or so in taxes to help get my country get in better shape. A $100.00 out of anyone's budget here on CD wouldn't hurt you a bit(those without jobs excepted). Some of these SILVER SPOON WHINERS just appall me!

I said Federal INCOME tax, not property tax. Stop the diversionary tactics. If you want to complain about property taxes, take it up with your LOCAL government who levies them. You still can't deny that 47% of the population pay NO Federal income tax, can you??????
yes, non homeowners pay property taxes as well.. Its built into the rent
