That may be true of many posters here...but if I try to put myself in that group that is getting stopped most often...say 50 year old white Irish american women were making up most of the criminal population in NY so as a result I was getting frisked all over the place by the NYPD...I wouldn't resent the police that were doing their jobs...I'd be pi$$ed at the 50 yr old Irish american criminal women for reflecting badly on me!

One is not related to the other. I may be pissed at Latino/Black criminals, but that doesn't mean that I'm not also angry at Nazi cops who routinely violate my civil rights because of what I look like.
The cops are NOT doing their jobs - they are trying to frighten, intimidate and abuse innocent, law-abiding citizens.
