i think something like 88 percent stopped had nothing, 12 percent led to arrests.

so, weigh the argument. is it worth terrorizing the public with nazi tactics if it means you can get something on every 1 out of 10 people you stop.

knowing the nypd they probably put the dope on half the people they arrested anyways.

So where does that end? Are you familiar with the 4th amendment? Why is Obama suing Arizona? They're just trying to keep the state safe and secure....

No,it is not worth terrorizing the public and I have never agreed with Gestapo tactics by any law enforcement agency.....BUT....profiling whether you like it or not IS a usefull LEO tool in some instances.

I find this entire thread interesting in that...posters can shout from the roof tops how angry they are, how wrong this is...NYPD has been bought by soros etc.....yet when these very things were happening to OWS "they" deserved it.

There is a huge problem in NYPD, HUGE, bloomy even made the comment that he had his own personal army.

You can not say that soros pays off OWS and NYPD, thst logic just simply does not work. The reality here is that OWS is in fact victim of some of these very tactics some of you are crying out against.

One person walking down the street gets stopped by the police.

People engaging in a huge illegal chaotic protest get stopped by the police.

Can you explain how this is a valid comparison?

WHERE are you getting your info that ALL OWS protests are illegal or chaotic?

You need to reread the constitution someday.
