We accept it, most of us. Its their right to pull away if they want. They don't want our business, and that's fine with me. Rush will have no problems picking up sponsors anyways.

I agree. I'm sure there are plenty of porn sites that can't wait for Rush to get desperate enough to take their money -- and he will. We all know he can go low, very low.
Just as advertisers are moving away from Rush, there could be just as many or more on a waiting list to advertise with him. There's only so many slots available during the program length.....for all his detractors know, there may be more than enough to fill the slots with ease.
I find it funny that people celebrate the departure of advertisers when in fact they don't know how many have been waiting to advertise on his program for who knows how long. This may be their opportunity.
Rush Limbaugh's not the only one who can call people names: Don Imus expressed his, shall we say, disappointment with the conservative radio host today, calling Limbaugh's Sandra Fluke apology "lame," particularly because it was not given in person. On Fox Business Network's Imus In the Morning, Imus also called Limbaugh "a fat, gutless, pill-popping loser."
LOL...Hey buddy.....Fluke is not asking you to pay for her contraception. She is paying for her premiums out of her own pocket. She just wants contraception included in the coverage. Get your head out of the Limbaugh pigsty....you've been fed false information by Porky Pig.
You were so anxious to get to your name calling lines that you didn't read/comprehend what I said. I said that she wanted "somebody else" to pay, not that she wanted me to pay.
Even if the student health plan is non-subsidized, which I doubt, everyone's premiums would have to go up in order to pay for those who get contraceptives. If she's paying the full amount, why wouldn't she have just written a check for it and be done with it in the first place, instead of going before Congress? Because she wants SOMEBODY ELSE to pay for it.
The difference is Imus led NY metro for decades, and the nation, in percentage of listeners earning $100k or more. Rushs' base is a much poorer demographic, and he could never command the ad rates Imus got through many decades. I was privy to them, as I knew several who worked on the show.
This is going to cost the show a ton of money, and already low ad rates per listener will go down further.
Well, obviously neither you nor Imus listened to the show.
I listened to Rush's show the entire week. I listen almost every day. He did what he always does, and that is to poke fun at the left when they deserve it (which is most of the time).
The woman portrayed herself as very active sexually.
How did she portray herself as being VERY sexually active? A woman could use birth control pills for the entire month while having sex only once during that month. How exactly would that make a woman very sexually active?
I might add that sex is a natural act & is healthy.
Sandra Fluke is being sold by the left as something she’s not. Namely a random co-ed from Georgetown law who found herself mixed up in the latest front of the culture war who was simply looking to make sure needy women had access to birth control. That, of course, is not the case.

Limbaugh's a big boy in a big boys' game. He messed up and so far he's taking it like a man.
