Would they? What about that 1991 Harvard Booklet that stated:
“Barack Obama, the first African-American president of the Harvard Law Review, was born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii.”
Why didn't they use that chicagurl? I await your detailed logical answer.
Baby, there was no Harvard booklet.
And as for the "cleverly worded document", Hawaii affirms that the information on Obama's COLB matches their records. You do realize that there is no Constitutional requirement that the President of the United States should have a birth certificate. Most of our Presidents didn't have a birth certificate. But Hawaii does say, and has repeatedly said, that Obama was born in Hawaii. That's the point of the birth certificate, isn't it? It's piece of paper we can carry with us to tell others where and when we were born. If the state says that the information on the piece of paper matches the information the state has, then that's the end of the story. The state is the only authority on what it's records say. And if the state says this information matches our records, then that's it.
which would only be a factor if there was reason to believe he was born in 1976 or later.
the comedy i'm enjoying today is that we have an AZ sheriff (arpaio) claiming a PDF of a "long form" birth certificate is fake while the AZ secretary of state is officially announcing that the information contained on the LFBC is legit.
i'd love to hear the AZ attorney general's take on the fiasco.

I would only add "the Republican run State of Hawaii"
For arguments sake lets suppose Obamas birth certificate is faked and we have indeed elected into the highest office a Communist Kenyan Marxist out to destroy America, certainly doesnt say much for our security measures in all manner of scrutiny of id credentials from passports and college applications to political qualifications right up to being the President, if this birther nonsense is actually true then Americans are the biggest dupes to ever have existed.
As for why we frequent birther topics? its amusing entertainment, kinda always gives a chuckle at how far off the deep end some will go.
Would they? What about that 1991 Harvard Booklet used for 16 years that was titled:
“Barack Obama, the first African-American president of the Harvard Law Review, was born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii.”

Okay. I checked, and according to Snopes, the editor of the biographical text about Barack Obama has said she made a mistake, she did not fact check her information. Thus we can completely discount your booklet. Detailed and logical, just like you wanted.
Did anyone seriously expect that this would change a single birther mind? All those who were truly just curious or uncertain were satisfied last year, when the President released his long form birth certificate and humiliated The Donald in the process (an excellent two-fer!). Those who still birf are dead from the neck up, so there is no mind there to change. Sad, but it's become obvious that there's no cure for this mental defect.

The Hawaii Dept of Health refused to verify the correctness. They would only verify that those claims were on the record they have. That’s why the form Ken submitted had to be withdrawn. It would have required them to verify the correctness. And that’s why the special verification list was allowed to stand and be responded to. It only required them to verify that the claims were on the actual record they have, not the correctness of those claims.
There was never a serious attempt to prove the things you mention about Obama. McCain was afraid he would be called a racist if he pushed for that info so he held back and had the RNC hold back for him. FEar of being called racist doesn't bother me, though. Fear of being called birther holds nothing I am afraid of, either. Surely old Dude will not unload the name racist birther on me. That is the way those who work for Obama work.
Karl Rove could have found all this stuff out and McCain would never have been touched. They would have shared it with Hillary and between the two camps, they would have destroyed Obama without Hillary and John even getting their fingers dirty.
I'm glad you're being loud and proud of being a racist - or a birther racist, if you will. At least you're owning up. It's so silly when folks go on and on about Obama and being black, etc., etc. and then add, ". . . but I'm not racist" when clearly, they are.
Politics can get very, very dirty, no doubt about it......but professional politicians know not to even go this route.
Rookie mistake on your part. No harm, no foul. One day you'll know what's off limits and what's not. It's an acquired knowledge that you develop over time.
Whatever you're smoking, it must be good. To even imply that there is something off limits for Karl Rove is the height of hilarity. He's the one who claimed McCain had a black baby back in 2000 and sunk McCain. AND - that was one of his own republicans! To think that he would hold back on a black Democrat, hahahahaha, totally and completely ludicrous.
